What is lactose?

It can be in two ways. In some cases, the lactose sugar molecules are breakdown into smaller molecules called glucose and galactose which are absorbed in the stomach with comfort. In other cases, a sufficient amount of lactase is added to milk enough to meet the body’s requirement for lactose digestion.

Lactose free milk has a delicious flavor and taste. It is estimated to be sweeter in taste as compared to simple cow milk. It happens because of the sugar molecules glucose and galactose which are obtained by the breakdown of lactose.
